How much time do the band need to set up?

Set up times vary depending upon access to the venue, space etc. Allow approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to set up and complete the soundcheck. Whilst set up times are approximate, rest assured that all these important details are discussed beforehand so that there will be no interruptions to speeches, meals, or the general smooth running of your event.

 

Where are the band available to play?

Athena are based in the North West of England but will travel anywhere in the UK.

 

Can I see the band live before I book them?

Obviously we recognise that your event is special and you will want to be as certain as possible that Athena is the right choice for you. Athena play regular live public gigs in addition to private function work. Please click here to view a list of our upcoming public performances. Please remember that the set list at a public performance may vary considerably to what the band would play at a function type event!

 

Why is there no 'fixed price' to book the band?

Each engagement is unique. It is very important to us to discuss exactly what you would require before we can establish the price. This is due to tremendously variable costs incurred by distance to be travelled, access, and the time the band is required to be at the venue. These factors affect the overall price.

 

My fiance and I have a 'special song' not on your set list - can you play it for us?

If it's possible for a five piece band to do your song in a "live" context, we'll do it!!
