Athena Band have just undertaken a wonderful Fundraising Event for the GLOVE PROJECT here in Gambia and raised over £1000.00 as a result of their hard work. All of us here at the Glove project would like to say a massive THANK YOU to each and everyone of you for all your hard work and fantastic achievement. The monies you have raised will certainly help us to assist some of the Worlds Poorest People and we will never forget your endeavours. How truely amazing this would be if it turned into an annual event to raise much needed funds for the Glove Project. We really can not Thank you enough. A MASSIVE WELL DONE.

Athena recently played at a wedding I attended and, "wow" these guys really know what it's about. they must be just about the best "not nationally" known band I have ever come across. what a night!!!

What a fantastic night! Athena were absolutely bloody fantastic, thank you so much for making our wedding so memorable. Especially getting the bride & groom up to sing!!

You guys are just a gattling gun of amazing songs. One of the best covers bands I have ever seen - Mike (Saw you at The Seven Stars!)
